Sport 1945 - 1970
The School returned to Great Yarmouth in 1944 to find the treasured playing field at Barnard Bridge sadly neglected, and the pavilion burnt down. Miss Rayden retired after 27 years as PE mistress and two years later Miss Howell left. Not surprisingly the games results were described as poor. Miss Dorothy Capon joined the PE department in 1947 and largely due to her enthusiasm and encouragement things quickly changed.
