On November 2nd the Old Girls assembled at the Burlington Hotel for another reunion luncheon.
As usual there was a great deal of excited chatter as old friends met after many years. Much studying of labels on lapels to see details of year and maiden names; hoping that one of your own year would turn up. The numbers seem to stay the same, round about 70 plus but those attending differ quite considerably at each reunion.
There was no Newsletter this time, as Nina and Jenny had put a great deal of work into the "Highlights of the Year, 1893 - 1970" Magazine, which was still selling.
Jane (Freeman nee Grass) read out a very long list of apologies from those who would have liked to have been there but were unable to attend.
A great time was had by all.
