Old Girls' Reunion Lunch April 16, 2009

79 ladies attended the reunion lunch at the Burlington on Thursday 16th April. This is a record and was 10 more than our lunch in October.

Old girls came from Colchester,Harwich,Leicester,Sudbury,Kent,Felixstowe,Berkshire, London and Southampton.

We were well catered for and it was quite amazing how the staff managed to get us "fed and watered" so efficiently. We are gradually filling up the room and if our numbers get much bigger we will have a problem all fitting in!

Jenny and Nina had produced a very interesting newsletter full of wonderful photos.

We ascertained that the eldest member in our group was aged 92! Joan Baker; and she looked marvellous on it. Our youngest on that day was Elizabeth Walker, a mere youngster of 58 and she is holding back the years as well!

Going by the noise of the chatter throughout the meal I think we can say we had another very successful reunion.

Below are a few pictures of the occasion.
